Meet the Team

  • Paul Ferri

    FOUNDER & PRESIDENT

I have always been interested in the world of Fitness and Performance. After graduating from my second degree at University, I was training clients before and after work when the opportunity struck to buy into a CrossFit Gym. From there, I quit my job at an Architecture Firm and went full on in the world of Fitness. I was very fortunate at a young age to get involved at the NHL level with the Florida Panthers and Winnipeg Jets, where over a 9 year period, I gained the knowledge needed as a Strength Coach to develop programs that focus on the developmental stages of an athlete. I have taken that knowledge of understanding true development, and use it daily as the Director of Performance for the Niagara IceDogs in the OHL.

Why LTS? In 2015 I founded Limitless Training Systems and from day one had the goal of bringing every element required to fully understand the ins and outs of an athlete into one building. We’ve developed the most in-depth foundational program possible, focused purely on Athlete Development, from testing, to data collection and monitoring everything we need to know about an athlete. I am grateful for the support our Athletes have given us over the years to develop LTS into what it is today - a powerful place, focused on YOUR Goals and truly providing the ultimate training experience!

On the side: I am a Dad to three amazing, (and incredibly energetic) kids; I have two boys named Nash and Duke and a baby girl named Cooper. My beautiful wife Lauren is the real rock behind LTS, an together my family have supported me in every step I have taken, to grow LTS to what it is today. You can find the Ferri Fam travelling frequently, hitting skate parks, trails, and beaches on the weekends, or spending quality time together at our Family Cottage in Grand Bend.

    Mike Christou

HEAD STRENGTH COACH & NIAGARA FACILITY MANAGER

I started in the strength world with high-school internships and co-ops in a training studio. I graduated from the University of Windsor (men’s hockey team, Queen’s Cup Champion, and 2x U Sports National finalist) in 2017. I opened my first strength facility in 2018, and I’ve been working with LTS since 2020, and with Niagara Ice Dogs since 2022 as their Nutrition and Strength & Performance Coach.

Why LTS? I came in to meet Paul on a hot summer day and was immediately in love with the culture of LTS. I remember thinking this is a place I wanted to be “all-in”. I am proud to work alongside such amazing coaches, and to build great friendships with our athletes as they move on to do all kinds of amazing things.

On the side: I spent a lot of my younger years worrying about what people would say if I did things a little differently - now I do what I love. I played AAA baseball during my off-season and spent quite a while training Muay Thai. I now spend my little spare time in the weight-room chasing a mediocre Powerlifting Career trying to defy the odds of aging. I would not be able to pursue this amazing career without my kick-ass wife Alexandra, and my firecracker son Mack!

  • Zach Dera

DIRECTOR OF PERFORMANCE & BURLINGTON FACILITY MANAGER

I obtained a Bachelor of Science Specialization in Kinesiology from Queen’s University in 2021, (including 3-year strength and conditioning mini stream, working with all Varsity teams) and a Masters Degree in Professional Kinesiology with a focus on High Performance Sports from the University of Toronto in 2023, where I was an assistant Strength and Performance coach for the Football Team and Men’s Soccer Team. I was a Strength & Conditioning Assistant with the Kingston Frontenacs, and I spent the summer of 2022 as an intern at Paragenix Systems Inc. with Matt Nichol. I’m a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Why LTS? LTS is a community where everyone is welcome, whether their goals are to get to the next level of their sport or get a sweat in before their work day. I love being able to help people with that, in whatever way that I can. The relentless energy and enthusiasm our athletes bring to the gym every day inspires me to do what I do at the highest level.

On the side: I love EDM Music, and you can always tell when I am in the gym because it is playing on the speaker.

  • Marcus Grenier

    COACH & BAYHAWKS FACILITY MANAGER

I graduated from the University of Waterloo. I’m certified ACE-CPT, Precision nutrition level 1, Pre Script Performance Nutrition, and am currently pursuing NSCA CSCS. Prior to LTS I worked as a Personal Trainer while I finished my schooling.

Why LTS? What makes LTS special to me is the group of coaches and athletes that are committed to getting better every time they are in the gym.

On the side: When I am not doing something fitness related I like to challenge myself in any way that I can. Some of my favourite activities include dirt biking and cliff jumping

  • Emily Brooks

    COACH

I am a Registered Kinesiologist with a Bachelors of Kinesiology and a Masters of Professional Kinesiology from Brock University. I have been working as a Registered Kinesiologist in clinical settings for the last 2.5 years, and have previous experience in the sports performance field both personally and as a coach. I grew up playing any sport that I could, but competed at a high level in volleyball and track & field. I continued my athletic career in track & field throughout University, and also took on an internship role as a strength coach for varsity teams. I am currently working as a Kinesiologist with Next Niagara Health & Wellness, as well as a part time Coach with LTS. Through my experiences I have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of people with differing goals, from high performance athletes to surgical rehabilitation cases.

Why LTS? What makes LTS special to me is the culture created within the training space. It can sometimes be hard to not feel the sense that training is a bit of a chore, but sessions with all of our athletes and fellow coaches make it something to look forward to. Everyone is welcoming, open minded and willing to put in the work themselves to be their best.

On the side: I have a cat named Fern that I am absolutely obsessed with.

  • Greg Powles

    COACH

I graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2022 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Kinetics. Currently, I’m in 3rd year at Sheridan College for Athletic Therapy. I am a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist. Prior to working at LTS, my work in the sports performance industry consisted of doing strength & conditioning programming for teams in the Durham and Kawartha region. I’ve also worked as an athletic therapist for many teams in a variety of sports including local teams such as the Burlington U16 AAA Eagles and the Burlington Jr. A Blaze. While completing my undergrad at uOttawa, I had a year-long internship with the Ottawa Senators athletic therapy and S&C staff which led me into the sports performance industry.

Why LTS? I started at LTS in March of 2024. What makes LTS special to me is the relentless pursuit of excellence from both athletes and coaches. You’re immersed in an environment that enables you to be your best everyday supported by the attention to detail in programming, testing, coaching and facility design.

On the side: I love spending time outdoors whether it’s at my cottage or playing golf in the summer or snowboarding in the winter.

  • Michael Keating

    COACH

University of Ottawa Honours Biology 2017-2019

SUNY Morrisville Human Performance and Health Promotion BsC 2021-2023

I started at LTS as an athlete back in 2016, training every summer playing junior hockey across the CCHL, GOJHL and OJHL before earning the opportunity to play NCAA D3 hockey at SUNY Morrisville. I started coaching at LTS when I retired from hockey in 2023. Since then I’ve been working for LTS as a coach as well as the assistant general manager of Club Pilates South Oakville. I’m a certfied NSCA CPT.

Why LTS? LTS holds a special place in my heart as it gave me the foundation to have the hockey career I had as well as teaching me the values that have turned me into the man & coach that I am today. While our system works, it’s our culture and community at LTS that is second to none in my opinion.

On the side: I love music. I’ve been playing guitar since I was 10 and have also taken an interest in electronic music production and have been treating it as a hobby since 2021. It could be country, rap, EDM or folk music, if it has a good chord progression and texture I’ll give it a listen.
